  1. EXTRAS/QUICKMENUS

  4.      PictureManager professional also allows the user to start any
  5.      pulldown menu functions via freely configurable quickmenus.
  6.      This innovative menu technique is significantly
  7.      faster and more user friendly than accesses via pulldown menus.
  8.      With quickmenus you get toolbars which may be freely
  9.      designed by the user. Each toolbar consists of a number of
  10.      buttons which can be linked to corresponding functions of
  11.      PMPro. The directory <Tools> contains the QM-Editor which
  12.      gives help in defining your own toolbars (please also read
  13.      chapter Tools/QM-Editor for more information). PictureManager
  14.      professional can open up to four such toolbars simultaneously.
  15.      Also, the upper half of the PMPro screen contains a
  16.      fix-positioned toolbar. This one may be freely configured as well.
  17.      Extras/Quickmenus has the following functions:

  19.      * Settings:
  20.        ---------
  21.        This function enables you to supply a definition file for
  22.        each of the four quick menus which you have previously designed
  23.        with the QM-Editor. These definition files contain, for example, 
  24.        the layout of the toolbars as well as the functions
  25.        linked with the single buttons. When activating the autostart
  26.        switch of a menu it will be loaded each tim PMPro is run.
  27.        More information can be found within the description
  28.        of the QM-Editors.
  29.        Also, the fix-positioned toolbar in the upper half of the screen
  30.        may be modified via definition files by specifying this
  31.        within the context "Internal".

  33.      * Menu 1 to Menu 4:
  34.        -----------------
  35.        Opens the corresponding toolbar (if not already opened).

  37.      * Info functions:
  38.        ---------------
  39.        Lists the currently active function settings of the corresponding
  40.        toolbar on the screen.
  41.        When first starting this may be useful, if the user does not 
  42.        remember exactly which button has been linked to which function.
